Vote: What makes one successful?
Jane RRR): I've heard many a time that hard work is the best way to be a success in any field. Still, it can often be seen that those who have a certain talent for something outstrip the hardworking without making much effort. So, which of the things listed above is actually the key to success? Or are there any other ways that could be helpful?

Elena Geiko: I'm the first one to vote here. My own experience shows that if I have ever succeeded in something, it has always been due to hard work and occasionally luck of being in the right place at the right time. Though I guess really talented people don't need to take pains to achieve the same results as others.

Liliana: Hard work is part of talent. Would you agree?
Jane RR): Do you mean that some people have an in-born ability to work hard?
Liliana: What I mean is: talented people work hard not because they make it an aim, but just because they cannot but work, it's their talent that makes them spend hours on either trying to solve some problem or reach the best result in playing the violin or painting. And most of the time they are not after the result itself. It is the process that they enjoy. They cannot but do it.
