Darya Mayer: For me it's a very contradictory question:I adore wearing fur, but I always feel pity for the animals...
Lana: I think that fur is the most comfortable and the most warmest clothes for our climate. But every time as I put on my fur, I begin to think about animals and their life. If I live somewhere in Europe, I don't need to wear furs or leather.
lucky_ann: Darya, Lana, I share your point, you are absolutely right-the most part of people wear fur and pity animals)) It's a really difficult question. Winter in Russia is very frosty and cold so wearing fur for us is more necessity than luxury. It's easy to criticize wearing fur when you live for example in warm France. What will Brigitte Bardot say if she has to live in Russia in winter?)) What do you think?? Elena, how about you? Do you wear fur and leather?
Elena Geiko: To tell you the truth, I do have some clothes that involve leather or fur... I have a British friend who had been against cruelty to animals since the age of 11 - disapproved of people eating anything that used to have a face or wearing leather and fur - until she had to spend a winter in Russia, and it was one of the coldest winters here. However, she still says that people will spit at you if you wear a fur coat or hat in the UK.
