Hangover time

Liliana: Hi, guys! How is everybody after the New Year Holidays? Any new impressions? Interesting trips? I personally spent quite a time on cooking and receiving guests, also visiting friends and relatives, dancing, listening to music and skiing in the forest, which was most enjoyable. I also mastered a new recipe - that of a crumble pie. Anybody interested? I'll definitely share it with you on request. Tastes great! Yummy -yummy! Let's share recipes!

Jane RR): As for me, I was mastering the skill of eating meals cooked by my Mom all the holidays long:) So I can't share any recipe, unfortunately. Will you tell us how to cook a crumble pie, Liliana?

Liliana: Ingredients: flour - 175 gr. milled almond - 80 gr. sugar powder - 100 gr. vanilla sugar powder - 1 p. cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp yolk - 1 butter - 125 gr. Filling:blueberry 400 gr. red gooseberry 250 gr. red currant 250 gr. OR ANY BERRIES YOU LIKE! Preheat the oven up to 180 C Make the batter from all the above mentioned ingredients, turn it into crumbles and cover the filling with them. Bake it for 20 to 30 min.

Jane RR): Thanks a lot, sounds tasty:)

Liliana: Of late I've been eating veggies a lot. Veggies stewed, veggies fried, veggies with rice, etc. Do you know any new recipe how to cook vegetables? If you do, could you share it with me? I would really appreciate it!

nuxma: Liliana, what for is the flour weight precision in that recipe? How can it be measured without special devices?

Liliana: Hi, Nuxma! As a matter of fact the exact amount of flour is very important in this recipe. I' try to measure it by glass and let you know how much it is.

nuxma: Liliana, you were interested in veggies recipes, have you tried this one? BREADED CAULIFLOWER 1 head cauliflower 2 eggs 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk Seasoned bread crumbs Salad oil Boil cauliflower until tender. Remove from water and cool. Break into small flowerets. In bowl, beat eggs and milk. In another bowl, place bread crumbs. Dip several flowerets into egg mixture, then put with bread crumbs. Fry in heated oil until all sides are nice and brown. This is the result:

Liliana: Hello, Nuxma! Thank you so much for the recipe! It sounds great! But unfortunately of late I've been eating only healthy food. Your recipe includes deep fried stuff which I personally excluded from my menu.Though when I look at the picture it does make my mouth water. How about other vegetarian recipes? Could anybody suggest more? Thanking in advance!

Liliana: Yesterday I was receiving guests measured flour properly. 175 gr of it is about a glass. Enjoy!

Elena Geiko: Here is one of my favourite recipes - really easy to cook. Vegetable Saute. Ingredients: half a pumpkin (can be replaced by a marrow or a zucchini) - diced 4-5 potatoes - sliced lengthwise 1 garlic clove – crushed 1 tomato – sliced 100 g cheese – grated salt, chopped greens, any other spices – to your liking Directions: Put all the ingredients into a large pan in layers: pumpkin, potatoes, garlic, tomato. Sprinkle with cheese, greens and other spices. Cook in a covered pan on medium-high heat for about 20 minutes. No oil is needed. Do not stir.

Liliana: Thank you, Elena! Looks tasty!

Jane RR): mouthwatering!!!
